How we handle your details
This page covers the closed-beta request form on this site. It is written to be read, not to be survived, so it is short and it says what actually happens.
Who is responsible
The controller of your details is Sophtus SRL, a company registered in Romania (CUI 50673267, Reg. Com. J2024029613003), with its registered office at Intrarea Doinei 23, ap. 7, 300086 Timișoara. For anything on this page, including a request to see or delete your details, write to tudor@sophtus.ro.
What we collect, and only when you send the form
Your name, your email address, your company or website, your line of work, the recurring job you describe, and how often it runs. Nothing else. This site sets no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies, so if you never submit the form we hold nothing about you at all. Sending the form is up to you, but without these details we cannot reply.
Why we are allowed to hold it
You asked us about taking part in the beta, so we process these details to take steps at your request before any agreement, and in our legitimate interest in replying to a business enquiry. There is no consent checkbox because consent is not the basis we rely on, and a checkbox that changes nothing would be theatre.
Where it is kept
In a database on a server we rent from a hosting company in Romania and administer ourselves. Your details are not sent to any advertising network, any customer-relationship tool, or any AI model. When we reply, our email provider, also in Romania, necessarily handles the message, as it would for any email. We do not transfer these details outside the European Economic Area.
How long we keep it
Twenty-four months from your last contact with us, then we delete it. If you tell us earlier that you are not interested, we delete it then instead.
What you can ask for
A copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. You can also ask us to keep your details but stop using them, for example while we check a correction or an objection. On request, we will also send them to you in a common electronic format, so you can pass them on. Write to tudor@sophtus.ro and we will act on your request within one month. You can complain at any time to the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP, at dataprotection.ro.
You can object at any time
One of the two bases we rely on is our legitimate interest in replying to you. You can object to that at any time by writing to tudor@sophtus.ro, and we will then stop using your details and delete them.
